Well, there is a way to maintain a brilliant wardrobe on top of it all! There is a way to always keep your wardrobe fresh and new, without having to spend time racing around stores. We all need one less thing to do, right?
That’s why we’ve created this specialized service for our busiest and long distance clients.
Box of Luxe is an effortless and non-subscription way to shop for new clothes. It’s a “try it in your size before you buy” shopping option. With Box of Luxe, you will always look your best in updated, seasonal clothing.
1. Call A Stylist
Our process starts with a simple style profile that tells us a little about yourself so we can select the perfect items.
2. Receive Your Box
Your dedicated stylist will select 4-6 pieces specific to you. We’ll ship or hand-deliver your box.
3. Try Your Clothes
You have five days to try everything on. Keep what you love and return the rest. Returns are always hassle-free.

In a fast-paced world, Lots of Luxe realizes and respects the limited amount of time you may have to concentrate on your wardrobe needs. We’ve created a non-subscription hassle-free way to shop. Box of Luxe is another shopping option to assist you in making wise, cost-conscious, and purposeful wardrobe decisions without leaving home. We want to give you back the time spent in a mall, boutique, or even at our trunk shows. As much as we love seeing you when you come to our shows, it’s not about us. It’s about YOU and the limited amount of time YOU HAVE. We also have many clients that are just too far away to schedule a visit to one of our in-home trunk shows. A Box of Luxe regularly is more convenient for them as well.
Your stylist hand-picks 4-6 pieces from the Carlisle and Etcetera collections (including Per Se and E3) that are specific to your personal preferences, body type, size, and lifestyle. Your past purchases will always be considered when new selections are made to make sure you have a cohesive and versatile wardrobe.
Frequently Asked Questions
Nope, no fees! There are no styling fees, membership or subscription fees. There are no deposits and no shipping or return fees.
To request your first box you click on Fill Out Your Profile button and complete the style profile. We’ll then have a brief telephone conversation with you to get to know you even better.
We are happy to answer any questions you may have. Please email us at info@boxofluxenc.com. We will respond to your inquiry promptly and if necessary we can set up a time to speak by phone.
We will ship to the address you provide on your Style Profile or if you’re local we can personally deliver. Or the box can be shipped to our Studio in advance of a fit appointment, it’s your choice.
Not at all, you will only receive a box if you request a box. Or if you have made arrangements with your Stylist to receive a regularly scheduled box.
Of course, you can! We’re all about personal service and convenience. If a telephone call or a one-on-one meeting at our Studio is more convenient that’s perfectly okay with us.
During our initial phone consultation, your Stylist will get your preferred payment method (All Major Credit Cards Accepted). Your card will be charged for the items you keep at the end of the approval period (5 business days).
We’ll send you an email to remind you when it’s time to return your box. If you return items from your box after the five business day period, there may be a $75 inconvenience fee. As we said, we are all about providing you superior customer service so if you know the box is going to be late, give your Stylist a call, and she’ll do everything she can to help.

As much as we’d love to see you at our trunk shows, it’s not about us. It’s about YOU and the limited amount of time YOU HAVE.
We do not have a store. We do have a beautiful studio conveniently located just off I40 between South Durham and Chapel Hill. We have both CARLISLE and ETCETERA collections at the studio seasonally. You can receive a personal invitation to come to the studio trunk shows if you’d like. Just tell us, and we’ll be sure you receive an email invitation. Get in touch here and let us know you’d like to be on our email list to receive Trunk Show invitations.
A return is any item from your box that you do not want. Contact your Stylist here before the end of the five business day deadline. If you live locally, just place the item(s) you’d like to return in the box, and your stylist will arrange with you a time and location to pick it up. If you live outside the area, she will provide you with a UPS (ARS) Return Label. Using the box the items came in, just adhere the label and drop it at your local UPS or Packaging Store.
Yes, you can. Initially, exchanges for sizing purposes may certainly be needed. Just as with a return, if you’re local your stylist will arrange a time and place to pick up the item(s) you want to exchange. If you live outside the area, we’ll send you a UPS (ARS) return label, use the original box, adhere the label and drop it at your local UPS or Packaging Store.
Yes, of course. Your Stylist will prepare a visual of your Box of Luxe selections using our Carlisle and Etcetera websites. This visual will be emailed to you for your review.
You can also create a Carlisle Wish List and/or an ETCETERA Favorites list of items you’d like in your Box. You can then email that list to your Stylist for her input and thoughts.
Yes, you can easily shop online you just need to create a login account for each.
To Sign Up and create a Login for CARLISLE click here. To Sign Up and create a Login for ETCETERA click here. Click SIGN IN / LOGIN in the upper right navigation. First time shoppers complete the Sign In form and returning shoppers simply enter login credentials.
In your account you can shop on your own, place items in a Wish List to share with your Personal Stylist. Sharing with you Stylist allows her to provide you with input and guidance related to your selections.

We handle any and all returns and exchanges for you, including picking up and delivering to your doorsteps.
We keep records of your purchases so to help you build a wardrobe and to get the most cost per unit wear. We help prevent impulse buying which usually leads to money lost.
We provide the services of a professional tailor, so you get that custom-fit you deserve.
We also provide Closet Audits. Your stylist will meet you in your closet. Together you will go through each piece to determine what stays, what needs to go or be donated and what’s missing.
